This event convened representatives from public health, animal health and environmental health sectors in Europe and Central Asia. It underscored the central role of the Quadripartite in promoting and coordinating a regional One Health approach. Besides the 4 Quadripartite organizing partners (WHO, WOAH, FAO and UNEP), participants included representatives from ministries of agriculture, veterinary public health, human public health, food safety, wildlife, environmental organizations and academia. This true One Health event was the first to be organized by the Quadripartite.
