One Health Bill introduced into the Colombian Congress, Colombia, South America

Through Which the Concept of One Health Is Incorporated for the Protection of the Environment, Animal Welfare, Public Health and Guidelines Are Established For the Formulation of the Public Policy of One Health.
Presented by Senator Marcos Daniel Pineda Garcia with 8 other Senators and 4 Representatives, this bill was built by the senator's legislative technical team in conjunction and consultation with the One Health Colombia leadership. It would put the One Health approach into practice, proposing a law that emphasizes coordination, improved infrastructure and investment, stronger alliances, and a change in awareness through increased education to better prepare Colombia for the next pandemic.
